Education
Supporting schools, scholarships and learning materials so tribal children and young people can pursue their potential.
About the trust
We stand with hill tribal communities in the Sirumalai Hills as they pursue equitable access to the essentials of a thriving life.
Our purpose
Hill Tribals Welfare Development Trust is committed to improving access to education, healthcare and development opportunities for communities in remote hill regions.
Distance from infrastructure, schools and medical facilities can compound inequality. We work to help bridge those gaps with practical support, respect for community knowledge and a long-term view of what progress can look like.
The work ahead
Stronger communities are supported by more than one service. Our focus areas are designed to reinforce one another.
Supporting schools, scholarships and learning materials so tribal children and young people can pursue their potential.
Making health services, camps and health-awareness initiatives more accessible to families in the hills.
Developing opportunities for skill-building and sustainable income that honour traditional knowledge.
Advocating for access to clean water, sanitation and other basic community infrastructure.

Our commitment
We believe communities should be able to thrive without losing the culture, relationships and heritage that make them unique. The trust champions dignity, representation and the right to participate in decisions that shape community life.
